　　Step2: Go to the playground play games and learn:

　　Please be ready. Run! Group them into boys and girls. Have a rally race.

　　Then chant it and do it: Catch a ball, run to the door. Catch a pen, run to Ben.

　　继续有关宠物教学的话题，在认识了各种宠物、并学习了有关的单词之后，老师们还可以用什么样的方式来帮助学生将这些单词活学活用呢?教材中的这首歌曲提供了多种不同课堂活动的可能性。

　　准备好宠物单词卡片：hamster, cat, dog, rabbit,fish, parrot. 老师快速闪卡，让学生根据看到的宠物说出单词。然后，老师将卡片收起、将其中一张放在身后，问学生：“Can you guess my pet? Is ita cat? Is it a dog?” 引导学生用 “Is it ... ?”这样的句子提问。如果没猜对，老师则说：“No, it isn’t. Guess again!”如果学生的`猜测是正确的，老师要立刻拿出卡片并说：“Yes， you’re right! It is a cat!”

　　在进行过几轮猜测之后，老师开始播放歌曲，第一遍让学生尽情欣赏旋律(不必跟唱)，老师可以根据歌词的进行，举起相关的卡片，帮助学生理解句意。再次播放歌曲时，老师带领学生开始轻声哼唱，让学生关注屏幕上的歌词(点击Script，展示所有的歌词)。一边唱，一边摇摆身体，唱到有关动物的单词时，模仿这个动物。

　　第三遍，老师改为播放卡拉OK，学生们继续边做动作边唱歌，此时、问题来了：记不住歌词怎么办?老师一定要告诉学生，“Can you guess my pet?”这一句不变，其他的部分“Is it ...?”中所包含的动物可以随心所欲唱自己喜欢的。这样一来，学生们就可以放开胆子、自由自在地改编歌曲、大声地唱出歌曲。

　　在多次唱歌之后，学生们对句型“Can you guess my pet?”以及”Is it ....?”都更加熟悉了。这时，老师可以邀请一个学生到教室前方，将自己喜欢的一张卡片藏在身后(学生可以选择本课以外的其它动物单词，老师应该多准备一些)，然后唱着问其他同学：“Can you guess my pet? Can you guess my pet?” 而其他同学需要唱着来进行猜测“Is it a cat? Is it a snake? ...” 老师负责选择学生来进行单独的“唱答”，直到正确答案出现为止。
